Sustainability

We take business and soil sustainability seriously and, since 2002, we have operated a no-till farming system. We employ a highly-skilled agronomist who shares our views and assists with our decisions. We have numerous strategies and technologies that we incorporate into our business to help support our sustainable land management practices.

Why plant Lentils?

Lentils are an integral part of our cropping rotation as they decrease the need to apply synthetic fertilisers. They do this by fixing nitrogen from the atmosphere into organic nitrogen, which is then released to the following crop.

Are we organic?

No, however we always aiming to reduce the use and the need for chemicals while boosting production and soil health. We use a multi-faceted pest management approach in an effort to look after our land.
